Managed IT Support for Businesses in High Wycombe, London and Across the UK

IT that just works — so your team can get on with the job.

Unlimited support from a UK helpdesk that actually picks up. One fixed monthly fee per user, a written SLA, and no contract designed to trap you.

What managed IT support actually means

"Managed" is one of those words that has been used so loosely it has stopped meaning much. Here is what it means with us: we take responsibility for your IT working. Not for logging tickets. Not for responding within a target. For it working.

In practice that is two things happening at once. There is the reactive half — somebody cannot print, a laptop will not boot, an email has gone missing — and there is the proactive half, which is the part that decides how often the reactive half happens. Monitoring, patching, hardware nearing end of life, backups actually being tested. Most IT problems are avoidable, and we are paid to avoid them.

What is included

Unlimited remote and on-site supportNo per-ticket charges and no watching the clock. If your team needs help, they call. On-site when the problem genuinely needs someone in the room.
A written SLA with real response targetsCritical issues — anything stopping you trading — get a response within 15 minutes. Standard requests are picked up the same working day. This is in the agreement, not just on a website.
24/7 monitoring and patchingServers, workstations and network kit watched around the clock. Security patches tested and applied on a schedule, so you are not running last year's vulnerabilities.
A named account engineerSomeone who knows your setup, your people and your quirks — rather than explaining your entire infrastructure to a stranger every time you call.
Asset and licence trackingWhat you own, what it runs, when it is due for replacement and what you are paying for. Most new clients find licences they stopped using years ago.
Onboarding and offboardingNew starters set up before their first morning. Leavers shut off the same day, which is a security problem far more often than people realise.

Who it suits

Our sweet spot is businesses of roughly 5 to 250 people. Big enough that IT genuinely matters and downtime costs real money, not big enough to justify a full in-house department.

If you are smaller than that we will still talk to you, but be honest with yourself about whether you need a managed agreement or just someone to call occasionally. We will tell you if it is the latter.

Working alongside in-house IT

This is common and it works well. Plenty of our clients have a capable IT person who is simply outnumbered. We provide out-of-hours cover, holiday cover, specialist project work, monitoring tooling they could not justify buying alone, and a second opinion when they want one. We are not there to replace them, and we say so to them directly at the start.

What it costs

Most clients pay a fixed monthly fee per user covering unlimited support, monitoring, patching, endpoint security and backup. The figure depends on headcount, how many servers you run, and the security level you need.

What we will not do is quote you a number before we have looked at what you have. Anyone who gives you a per-user price over the phone, sight unseen, is either guessing or planning to add extras later. After a free IT review you get a firm figure and a written scope.

Not sure whether this is what you need? Book a free IT review. A real engineer looks at what you have, tells you honestly what is fine and what is not, and gives you a number. No obligation, and no sales script.

Switching providers

The thing that stops most businesses leaving a provider they have outgrown is the fear of the switch itself. It is usually less painful than the years of putting up with it.

  1. Free IT review. We look at what you have, what is working and what is a risk. You get a written summary whether or not you go ahead — it is yours either way.
  2. A clear proposal. Fixed monthly cost, what is in scope, what is not. One page you can actually read.
  3. Onboarding. Documentation, monitoring agents, security baseline and credential handover. We deal with your outgoing provider so you do not have to have the awkward conversation.
  4. Ongoing. Regular reviews, a roadmap, and a budget you can plan against.

The whole thing typically takes about two weeks, and the disruption is mostly ours rather than yours.

No long tie-ins

We work on rolling agreements with a short notice period. This is deliberate. A three-year contract protects the provider, not you — it removes any pressure on them to keep earning the work. If we are doing our job you will not want to leave. If we are not, you should not be trapped.

And if you do leave, your data and documentation are yours. Full handover, admin credentials, backups, the lot. It is written into the agreement.

Where we work

We are based at Cressex Business Park in High Wycombe and regularly work on site across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and London. Remote support covers the whole of the UK, including hybrid and home-based staff — which, since 2020, is most people's reality.

Common questions

How much does managed IT support cost per user?

It depends on headcount, server count and the security level you need, so we do not publish a single figure. Most clients pay a fixed monthly fee per user covering unlimited support, monitoring, patching, endpoint security and backup. You get a firm number after the free IT review, with a written scope — not an estimate that grows later.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. We work on rolling agreements with a short notice period. If we are doing our job you will not want to leave; if we are not, you should not be trapped.

How quickly do you respond?

Critical issues — anything stopping the business trading — get a response within 15 minutes. Standard requests are picked up the same working day, and most calls are answered in under 30 seconds. These targets are in the written SLA.

Can you work alongside our existing IT person?

Yes, and it is common. We back up in-house staff with out-of-hours cover, holiday cover, specialist project work and monitoring tooling, rather than replacing them.

What happens to our data if we leave?

It is yours. We hand over full documentation, admin credentials and backups to you or your new provider. Nothing is held hostage, and this is written into the agreement.
